Replacement foam filter for wet use application for the Panther, Shadow and Predator gutter vacuums. The sponge filter is designed to maximise airflow during wet gutter clears whilst offering protection for the motor(s).
Care must be taken when removing and attaching the foam filter by the elastic to the lip of the float valve housing to avoid tear. The filter securely fits to the lip of the float valve housing unit protecting motor from solid debris.
The filter prevents larger clumps of moss and other solids from blocking the float valve during wet use.
To clean the sponge filter, simply remove, wash under a hose or tap, air dry and refit back to the head as shown below. Please do not allow slurry to dry on the filter as the head will intake dry debris through the sponge.
Please note: This filter does not fit the float valve of the GVS 3000 or GVS 3600 vacuum.
GBI bought a replacement sponge filter, It’s so easy to tear them, I have one I carefully tried to remove, but it just tears, I know they aren’t expensive, but I’m hoping they’ll find a better material for this filter, that doesn’t tear so easily

GBGood quality consumable filter. As others have indicated- it does need gentle application. But once you rip one you know what to avoid when installing in the future.
