3 x replacement foam / sponge filters for wet use application, these fit the Panther, Shadow and Predator gutter vacuums. The sponge filter is designed to maximise airflow during wet gutter clears whilst offering protection for the motor(s).
Care must be taken when removing and attaching the foam filter by the elastic to the lip of the float valve housing to avoid tear as shown in the video below. The filter securely fits to the lip of the float valve housing unit protecting motor from solid debris.
The filter prevents larger clumps of moss and other solids from blocking the float valve during wet use.
To clean the sponge filter, simply remove, wash under a hose or tap, air dry and refit back to the head as shown below. Please do not allow slurry to dry on the filter as the head will intake dry debris through the sponge.
Please note: This filter does not fit the float valve of the GVS 3000 or GVS 3600 vacuum.

Hello Michael,Having initially purchased your replacement sponge filter in 2023, I can see that you have recently purchased a saver pack. They are a foam filter and are a consumable.We have not received any images from you on the issue you keep having? We have plenty of videos online for the correct way to fit the filter to avoid damaging the foam when you are fitting them. If you are still having difficulty we should suggest the cloth filter instead under our Predator spares, the cloth is a wet or dry use filter which you may find to be more suitable.
GBA good product but could be made with thicker sponge to stretch a bit more.
GBPleased with the filters but they are pretty fragile it’s easy to tear them by accident.
